what pissed me off about the whole thing is i KNEW my rear seal was just fine. The "mechanic" has used his oil squirt can (which was on his tool chest) to squirt some oil on the block to make it look like a problem. A leaking main seal would have left a nice little puddle in my garage, which it didn't before that day OR after that day... not to mention i checked the "problem area" for a couple of days after, just to make sure i was justified in going ape shit, and it didn't leak at all... 8 years later and that fucker still isn't leaking... main seal leak my ass!
